The death of Angelina Jolie's aunt

After her revealed to the public she would had a double mastectomy to avoid breast cancer, her aunt died from the disease approximately after two weeks of her reveal.

Debbie Martin died at age 61 at hospital, she was the younger sister of Jolie's mother, Angelina Jolie who was inspired by the death of Marcheline by cancer in 2007, took her road to inspire people after describing her surgery.

The death of Marcheline Bertrand in 2007, who suffered from ovarian cancer inspired the surgery that Jolie described in May in the New York Times.

As her husband declared to the press, Debbie Martin had the same effective BRCA1 gene that Jolie does, but didn't know it until after 2004 diagnosis.

Ron Martin said in a phone interview if we had known, we certainly would have done exactly what Angelina Jolie did.

Angelina Jolie the 37-year old woman said that she had a 50 percent risk of getting ovarian cancer but an 87 percent risk of breast cancer so she had her breasts removed first, reducing her likelihood to a mere 5 percent.

"because I hope that other women can benefit from my experience" said by Jolie after describing her the three-step surgical processing details.
